Each year, OLRC prepares a report in Spanish an in English, informing about hate crimes in Spain against Christians of different denominations, as well as against Jews and Muslims. Our yearly reports in the English language are sent to the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODHIR) of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) and follow ODIHR’s reporting guidelines and methodology. ODIHR uses our reports, as well as the reports of many other civil society organizations, to inform about hate crimes in the OSCE region and take action accordingly. Reports in Spanish are longer and inform about many attacks to religion and situations of religious discrimination which are not described in the reports in English because of the specific definition of hate crime that ODIHR uses.
Each report usually has the following sections:
1- Physical attacks and violence against believers
2- Attacks, damage to property and vandalism against places of worship
